A while back when the Virginia weather was up and down… warm then cold… sunny then snowing… it was difficult to pick the perfect day for having a photo shoot. Kerri and I picked a date and we got lucky! It was a beautiful day, blue skies, and sunny! Kerri reached out to me via a mutual friend (thanks for the referral Kristin!). Kerri wanted to have photos of her and her adorable son, Carter. He had just lost his two front teeth days before our session — which made his huge smile even cuter!
Carter was full of energy during our entire session. As a family portrait photographer, it’s important for the children to feel comfortable with me so I can capture fun, candid, natural photographs. It was certainly easy with Carter. His goofy personality kept us all entertained that afternoon. He is definitely a Momma’s boy too! Loved spending time with these two — enjoy browsing some favorites from our session 🙂
