OH my goodness!!! Could these two little sisters be any cuter?! Lanie and Ella are so very playful! They kept me on my toes during the entire session. These two are full of smiles, laughs, and love. Lanie had just celebrated her 5th birthday and little Ella is turning 2 this December. Katie, their Mommy, wanted to get a fun family session to capture this special time in their lives. The Houston family has a gorgeous home on roughly 10 acres of land out in Goochland. When she mentioned in her initial email to me that they had “a pretty barn” on their property — I was beaming with excitement!! I loved the idea of a farm-like, open field setting. It was even better that it was at the comfort of their own home — I knew the girls would be relaxed in that environment which would then make for fun, natural images.

When I arrived, the little ones were all ready in their matching polka dot outfits (I love polka dots!) with big white bows in their hair. Katie had some big, fun, colorful balloons to use in some of the photos which really tied in the birthday theme. When it came time for their second outfit… I was in love!! Tutus, pigtails, and bows galore!! I was very impressed with Katie’s creativity. The girls had so much fun — I didn’t want to leave 🙂

The Grandparents came along too and joined in on the fun. It was so great spending time with this sweet family. Thank you SO much for the referral Samantha!!! I can’t wait to capture their next milestone. Here are some favorites!! As you can see, I have a lot of them 🙂
