A note about my maternity leave.
Well, hello there! I hope you’re having a great summer! I cannot believe that FALL is right around the corner! Who’s ready for cooler weather, firepit season, pumpkin-spiced candles, and those beautiful autumn leaves?! I know I am 🙂
As you may already know, I’m expecting a baby BOY in October. My due date is October 21st – only 9 more weeks to go (unless this little man decides to make an early arrival)! In efforts to keep you in the loop, I wanted to send you a quick note regarding my maternity leave plans.I plan to photograph my clients up until my 37th week of pregnancy – so the cutoff to book a 2016 session with me will be September 29th. Afterwards, my heart needs this time emotionally to slow the volume way down and finalize preparations for baby Michael. I still have some availability between now and September 29th and would love the opportunity to work with you! Click here to email me about booking a session. My maternity leave will last through mid-January where I’ll then be ready to book 2017 portraiture sessions.
Yes, I am still planning to offer my annual Holiday Mini-Session Special! I’ll be announcing more details on this next week so stay tuned!
At first, I was completely overwhelmed by the thought of taking so much time off for maternity leave. However, I’m incredibly grateful that I will have the opportunity to be fully present and able to focus 100% of my time and attention on sweet baby Michael. I do still plan to have an active voice on my blog and social media accounts. I’d have too much FOMO (fear of missing out!) if I just went radio silent in the digital world for several months! I’m actually looking forward to finally catching up on some blogging from tons of sessions I did last year that I never blogged (yikes!). So, while Michael naps I’ll be catching up on that 🙂
Life is about to change for good! Here’s to a new season of being a mommy AND a business owner! I have amazing, BIG, game changer plans for 2017 and can’t wait to share them with you in the New Year.
Thank you so much for your continued support of my business and my family during this time, and for your understanding as Ryan and I spend quality time with our new bundle of joy. Thanks in advance for your patience in me responding to emails during my maternity leave as I will be enjoying and adjusting to our family of three! 🙂
