A New Look

Happy Friday y’all!! I’m SO very excited to announce that my new website updates are LIVE! I’ve spent many late-night strategic hours into building (on my own!) a more user-friendly experience on my website. I’ve come a long way on the design of my online home since re-branding in 2014. August must be my month where I get that itch to try something new! The last time I did my re-branding launch was on August 4, 2016 (almost exactly 2 years ago!). I have done some website tweaking here and there since then but haven’t made any substantial updates until now.

My primary goals with this launch was to go for more of a professional and clean look while still remaining true to my spunky polka dot personality, showcase beautiful images while also telling a story, educate prospective clients on my philosophy and approach to newborn photography, and allow visitors to get to know me.

When you visit my website, you’ll notice that you don’t have to do a lot of scrolling down/up… I wanted to keep the majority of my content on the main screen without viewers having to scroll down to view more. I’m a big fan of the “less is more” approach when it comes to this new design. Leaving my viewers wanting more and hopefully clicking that “inquire” button to reach out to me! When someone does take a moment to complete my inquiry form, I instantly get a text message and an email alerting me of their submission. The end-user then receives an automated email telling them that I will be in touch.

I have to say, I’m quite obsessed with new updates! My online home is so bright and cheerful! I love the overall flow of all the webpages. I hope you as my virtual visitors find it easy to navigate and enjoy browsing through it too 🙂

There are new features on almost every page on my website along with all new images in my portfolio. It’s hard for me to pick my favorite page… I absolutely love the new look of the “Meet Allison” page — it has short and sweet captions, a video, and embedded links and animation. My portfolio pages now showcase a full-screen spread of images. It was almost impossible to narrow down my favorites!! Each one just warms my heart! 🙂

I now have a very special page that I’m proud of to highlight my fancy-schmancy awards 🙂

 

My testimonials page features a scrolling animation of kinds words from my fabulous clients. So very grateful for each and every one of you!
